What it is
The Element & Tank Assembly 5+7.5L is a combined heating element and water tank unit manufactured by Valor for the SB Professional shower range. It heats the incoming water supply and holds it within the tank body before it is delivered to the outlet. The assembly is supplied as a single unit covering both the 5L and 7.5L variants.
Signs this part needs replacing
- No hot water or water running cold from the shower
- Water only reaching lukewarm temperature regardless of setting
- Visible leaks or weeping from the tank body or element seal
- Repeated tripping of the thermal cut-out or RCD during use
