What it is
The ZB38307 is Fluidmaster's long flexible pan connector, extending from 300mm to 600mm to link a toilet pan outlet to the drainage pipe where the two don't line up. Its flexible section is stainless-steel reinforced and it is certified to BS 5627.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Leaking or weeping at the pan-to-soil-pipe joint
- Cracked, perished or collapsed flexible section
- Bad odours from around the base of the toilet
- Connector no longer holding its shape or has come loose
Before you order
- Measure the gap between the pan outlet and the soil pipe to confirm it falls within 300-600mm
- Check your pan has a horizontal (BS 5503) outlet, not a vertical one
- Turn off and drain the cistern before disconnecting the pan
