What it is
The Andrews Case Set FF is a casing assembly supplied under part number Z490. It is manufactured by Andrews for use on Andrews water heaters, where the case set forms the outer enclosure around the appliance. The casing protects internal components and gives the unit its finished appearance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible corrosion, rust staining or blistering to the casing panels
- Cracks, splits or deformation in the outer panels
- Impact damage or dents that prevent the case from sitting correctly
- Missing or broken fixings, hinges or fasteners on the casing
- Panels that no longer align or seat properly on the appliance
Before you order
- Confirm the appliance model and serial number against the manufacturer's parts list
- Check that a case set is the correct assembly for your unit rather than individual panels
- Inspect the existing casing to confirm which sections are damaged
- Verify the part number Z490 matches the listing for your appliance
