What it is
The Z121 is a spark rod (spark electrode) manufactured by Andrews for use in Ecoflo water heaters. It provides the ignition spark at the burner, lighting the gas on a call for heat. The electrode is listed for the LPG variants of the Ecoflo range.

- Cracking, sooting or heavy carbon build-up on the electrode tip
- A damaged or discoloured ceramic insulator
- Spark tracking to earth instead of across the ignition gap
