What it is
The Andrews Z086 is a combined fan (blower) and gas valve kit for LPG-fuelled Andrews water heaters. It is fitted to appliances in the Ecoflo range, where it manages the supply of combustion air and gas to the burner. The kit is supplied as a single assembly for the 230/960 models.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The appliance fails to ignite or locks out during start-up.
- The fan does not run, runs intermittently, or is noisy in operation.
- The burner lights and then extinguishes shortly afterwards.
- The gas valve fails to open, or the appliance reports a fan or ignition fault.
- Repeated lockouts that clear on reset but return on the next cycle.
