What it is
An aftermarket gas section (gas valve) built as a direct equivalent to the genuine Glowworm part 0020020735, fitted in the Flexicom boiler range. It controls the flow of gas to the burner and pilot assembly; the boiler's printed circuit board sends a signal to open the valve whenever there's a call for heat.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Boiler fails to ignite, or loses flame shortly after lighting
- A gas-related fault or lockout code on the boiler display
- No gas reaching the burner despite a call for heat
