What it is
The Gledhill XC008 is a 3/4" spare ring gasket supplied as a set of three. It is a sealing component used on Gledhill Boilermate, Pulsacoil and Torrent cylinder appliances, where it forms the seal at a 3/4" connection point to prevent water loss.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Visible water weeping or dripping from a 3/4" connection on the cylinder
- The gasket is hardened, flattened, cracked or compressed out of shape
- Scale or corrosion deposits around the joint face
- A joint that continues to seep after the fitting has been re-tightened
