What it is
The VPSC416BK is a 6-gang plate switch from the Scolmore Click Deco range, allowing up to six lighting circuits to be switched from one position. Each gang can be wired 1-way or 2-way, and the plate has a satin chrome, Victorian square edge finish.
Signs this part needs replacing
- One or more gangs stop switching their circuit
- Switches feel loose, stiff, or inconsistent between gangs
- Visible arcing or scorch marks around any gang
- Plate cracked or insert discoloured
- Intermittent operation on any individual gang
Before you order
- Isolate all relevant lighting circuits at the consumer unit
- Confirm your back box is 6-module wide and at least 25mm deep
- Note which gangs are wired 1-way vs 2-way before removing the old plate
- Fixed wiring work should be carried out or certified by a competent, Part P registered electrician
