What it is
A 13A, 2 gang double pole switched socket outlet from the Scolmore Click Deco range, finished in polished chrome (manufactured from stainless steel) with a white insert and gasket. It uses double pole switching with inboard rockers and the Victorian square edge plate design.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The plate is cracked, loose in the wall, or the rockers feel spongy
- Scorch marks, discolouration or a burning smell around the socket
- Intermittent power, or the socket cuts out when the switch is operated
- An electrical inspection (EICR) flags the accessory as unsatisfactory
Before you order
- Isolate the circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old plate
- Match gang count, switching arrangement (double pole) and back box depth
- Have a qualified/registered electrician carry out the replacement
