What it is
A Click Deco 45A double pole (DP) plate switch in polished chrome with a black insert, part of Click's Victorian square-edge wiring accessory range. It is wired into a fixed circuit — typically a cooker, hob or shower — to fully isolate both live and neutral. This variant has no neon indicator.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The rocker feels loose, sticks, or no longer clicks positively
- The switch fails to fully isolate the circuit when operated
- Cracking, discolouration or scorch marks around the plate
- The switch feels warm or buzzes in use
Before you order
- Match the exact part number, including insert colour (BK) and gang count
- Confirm your back box meets the 35mm minimum depth
- Isolate the circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old switch
- Fixed wiring work of this kind should be carried out by a competent or Part P registered electrician
