What it is
A Click Deco 10AX intermediate plate switch in polished chrome with a white insert, part of Click's Victorian square-edge wiring accessory range. Intermediate switches are used alongside two-way switches to control a lighting circuit from three or more positions.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The rocker feels loose, sticks, or no longer clicks positively
- Lights connected to the circuit fail to switch on or off reliably from this position
- Cracking, discolouration or scorch marks around the plate
- The switch feels warm or buzzes in use
Before you order
- Match the exact part number, including insert colour (WH) and switch type (intermediate)
- Confirm your back box meets the 16mm minimum depth
- Isolate the lighting circuit at the consumer unit before removing the old switch
- Fixed wiring work of this kind should be carried out by a competent or Part P registered electrician
