What it is
The Vokera 2907 is a safety valve with a push fit connection, supplied by Vokera for use in their water heating appliances. It forms part of the pressure control circuit, opening to discharge water when internal pressure rises beyond the set limit and closing again once normal operating pressure returns. This valve is the current part for installations that previously used Vokera 8433 or 1806.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water continually discharging from the valve outlet when the system is at normal pressure
- System pressure dropping repeatedly and needing frequent top-ups
- Dripping or weeping from the valve body or its connection point
- The valve failing to reseat after it has opened, leaving a permanent trickle
- Scale or debris visible around the seat, preventing a clean seal
