Signs this part needs replacing
- The boiler fires briefly then shuts down, or fails to light at all despite a spark at the electrode
- Repeated lockouts that clear on reset and return shortly afterwards
- No gas reaching the burner when the fan and ignition sequence run correctly
- Flame that will not hold, or a burner that lights weakly and will not modulate up
- Audible clicking or a valve body that no longer responds to the demand signal from the PCB
