What it is
The Altecnic Reflex Potable Vessel is a 25 litre expansion vessel designed for use on potable (wholesome) water systems, where it absorbs the expansion of heated water and limits pressure rise within the installation. The vessel incorporates an integrated bracket for mounting. It is part of the Altecnic expansion vessel range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Water discharging from the pressure relief valve during normal heating cycles, indicating the vessel is no longer absorbing expansion.
- System pressure rising quickly and falling sharply between cold and hot states.
- Water present at the air valve connection when the valve is depressed, pointing to a failed internal diaphragm.
