What it is
The VC1204 is a 10A, 2 gang, 2-way plate switch from Deta's Vimark Curve range. Each gang independently controls a lighting circuit and can be wired 2-way, so a light can be switched from two separate locations.
Signs this part needs replacing
- A rocker no longer clicks firmly, feels loose, or sticks in position
- The light fails to switch from one or both locations wired to it
- Visible cracking, scorching, or discolouration on the plate
- Buzzing or a warm faceplate when in use
