What it is
The COMPLETE BAFFLE SET is a Grant baffle assembly for the Vortex PRO range of condensing oil boilers. Baffles sit within the heat exchanger passages to slow and redirect flue gases, so more heat is transferred to the water circuit before the gases leave the appliance. This set covers the full baffle requirement for the models listed below.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Reduced heat output or longer recovery times on hot water and heating
- Higher than expected flue gas temperatures
- Visible corrosion, distortion or burning on the baffle surfaces
- Soot or debris build-up on the baffles that cannot be cleaned back
- Baffles found missing, broken or sitting loose in the heat exchanger during a service
