What it is

This Vaillant seal is a small, circular component with a 4 mm diameter, supplied in a pack of 10. It is intended for use in Vaillant standard water heaters, where it creates a watertight seal between mating surfaces. The seal helps prevent water leaks at joints and connections, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of the appliance. As a consumable item, it may need replacement during servicing or repair if it becomes worn or damaged. The seal is an essential part of the water heater's sealing system, and using the correct size is critical to avoid leaks.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Water leaking from the appliance around the seal location
  • Visible cracks, hardening or deformation of the existing seal
  • Loss of system pressure requiring frequent top-ups
  • Dripping or weeping from the joint where the seal is fitted

Before you order

  • Confirm your appliance model and part number against the compatibility list.
  • Check that the existing seal matches the 4 mm diameter.
  • Note that this is a pack of 10 seals.
  • If you are unsure about the correct part for your appliance, consult a qualified heating engineer.
