What it is
The VA140/150KP is a Vent-Axia panel extractor fan for 150mm (6") ducting, switched locally by an integral pull cord. Thermo-electric shutters close automatically when the fan is off, preventing backdraught through the duct.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The fan is noisy, rattling, or the motor hums but the blades do not turn
- The pull cord no longer switches the fan on or off
- The anti-backdraught shutters stick open or closed
- Reduced airflow or the fan struggles to clear steam/condensation
