What it is
The VA140/150KHP is a Vent-Axia panel extractor fan for 150mm (6") ducting, combining pull-cord switching with a built-in humidistat that runs the fan automatically when humidity rises. Thermo-electric shutters close when the fan is off, preventing backdraught through the duct.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The fan is noisy, rattling, or the motor hums but the blades do not turn
- The humidistat no longer triggers the fan as humidity rises, or the fan runs constantly
- The pull cord no longer switches the fan on or off
- The anti-backdraught shutters stick open or closed
