What it is

The Baxi V4700E1098 is a gas valve used on Baxi WM series boilers. It controls the flow of gas to the burner, opening and closing in sequence with the appliance's ignition and modulation cycle so that gas is present only when the burner is meant to fire. This valve is the unit specified for the WM 20/3 RS through to the WM 60/3 RS models.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The burner fails to light, or lights and then drops out shortly after
