What it is
This is a UCP-branded gas valve, sold as a compatible replacement for the original Honeywell V4600A 1122U gas valve, which Honeywell/Ideal discontinued in 2018. The OEM equivalent was superseded by Ideal gas valve kit 171925. It opens to allow gas to flow to the pilot and main burner when signalled by the boiler's controls.
