What it is
Clessinox is Clesse's stainless steel convoluted-wall gas hose, covered with a UV-stabilised PVC outer sleeve as a flexible, rodent-resistant alternative to rubber or rubber-armoured hose. This 1.2m assembly has a 1/2" male taper connection at one end and a 22mm compression fitting at the other, rated to 70kW/h.

- Corrosion or damage to the stainless steel core visible through the sleeve
- Hose over 10 years old or past its stamped test/expiry date
- Smell of gas or a failed tightness test at the hose connections
