What it is
Clessinox is Clesse's stainless steel convoluted-wall gas hose, covered with a UV-stabilised PVC outer sleeve as a flexible, rodent-resistant alternative to rubber or rubber-armoured hose. This 1.2m assembly has a 1/2" male taper connection and is supplied with both 15mm and 22mm compression fittings, with an integrated test point, rated to 35kW/h.

- Cracking, kinking or splitting of the outer PVC sleeve
- Corrosion or damage to the stainless steel core visible through the sleeve
- Hose over 10 years old or past its stamped test/expiry date
- Smell of gas, or a failed tightness test at the hose or test point connections
- Damage from rodent gnawing or physical impact
