What it is
A brass test point adaptor with a 3/8" male thread at one end and a 3/8" female thread at the other. It is used to create a temporary or permanent test point on heating and plumbing pipework so that pressure readings can be taken. The male-female configuration allows it to be threaded onto an existing 3/8" connection and accept a gauge or test hose in turn.
