Spirotech Spirotrap MB3 Dirt Separator 22mm

The Spirotech Spirotrap MB3 is a dirt separator with 22 mm connections, rated to 110 °C and 6 bar. It is installed in a heating system to remove suspended debris from the circulating water before it reaches the boiler and other components. It forms part of the Spirotech Spirotrap range of system protection products.

• Sludge or black magnetite is visible in the separator body or around the drainage point
• Radiators in the system show cold spots or uneven heat distribution that returns after cleaning
• Circulating water remains dirty despite regular flushing, indicating the separator is no longer capturing debris
• Increased system noise or a drop in flow rate through the appliance side of the circuit
• The unit shows signs of leakage, corrosion or a seized drain valve
