What it is
An isolation valve made by Ultra Compact Ltd, fitted as the first shut-off point on a domestic or light commercial bottom-outlet fuel oil storage tank, operated by a fitted 50mm lever.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Lever will not fully shut off the oil supply
- Leaking around the body or lever spindle
- Lever paint finish flaking with corrosion showing through
- Retaining screw or nylon washer missing or damaged
Before you order
- Confirm the tank outlet is 1" BSPT and the downstream connection is 1/2" BSPP
- Isolate and drain the tank outlet before fitting
- Fit with a 36mm hexagon spanner
