What it is
The Nuway U90403X is a pair of high-tension (H.T.) leads complete with connectors. It carries the ignition voltage from the transformer to the electrodes on Nuway oil burners. This part is used on the C1 and C3 series and the Nol range.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner fails to light or goes to lockout with oil present at the nozzle
- Cracking, charring or perished insulation visible along the lead
- Spark tracking to earth or arcing along the lead instead of at the electrode tip
- Loose, corroded or heat-damaged connectors at the electrode or transformer end
- Intermittent ignition on a burner that otherwise runs correctly
