What it is
The Nuway U90361B is an electrode block assembly for Nuway NOL series oil burners. It carries the ignition electrodes that generate the spark at the burner head, which lights the oil and air mixture on start-up. The block locates and insulates the electrodes in the correct position relative to the nozzle.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Burner goes to lockout on start-up with no ignition
- No visible spark at the electrode tips during a test fire
- Carbon build-up or pitting on the electrode tips
- Cracked or discoloured ceramic insulation on the block
- Electrode tips out of alignment with the nozzle

- Check the existing electrode block against the manufacturer reference NOL 123 ELECTRODES (BLOCK)
- Inspect electrode spacing and alignment to the nozzle before refitting
