What it is
A compartmentalised carry box from Inventive Creations pre-stocked with a selection of the most popular 1/2" tap mechanisms used in the UK, combining ceramic disc (CC) and rubber washer (RC) cartridges in one kit, so a plumber can fix a leaking or damaged tap on the spot without carrying dozens of individual packs.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Tap drips or won't fully shut off
- Tap handle feels stiff, loose or grinds when turned
- Water leaking from around the tap spindle or base
Before you order
- Identify whether the tap uses a ceramic disc or rubber washer cartridge before selecting from the box
- Isolate the water supply before removing any tap cartridge
- Keep a record of which compartments have been used so the box can be refilled
