What it is
A 320mm gas fire thermocouple with an M10 tip thread, stocked as a direct replacement for the thermocouple originally fitted to the Valor Clipper gas fire (OE part 0508169). It uses the mm-length/thread-size numbering (T67 series) common across UK gas fire spares for this type of universal replacement thermocouple.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot light won't stay alight, or goes out as soon as the control knob is released
- The pilot button needs holding in for longer than normal before the flame stays lit
- Visible corrosion, discolouration or a kinked lead on the probe
- The gas valve won't open even though the pilot is burning correctly
