What it is

The Honeywell T6360B1036 is a mains voltage room thermostat used to control domestic central heating. It switches the heating circuit via a single-pole double-throw (SPDT) contact set rated at 10 A, with an adjustable set point between 10 °C and 30 °C. A neon indicator shows when the thermostat is calling for heat, and the dual diaphragm sensing element provides the temperature response.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The heating does not come on when the room is below the set temperature.
  • The boiler continues to run after the room has reached the set point.
  • The neon indicator fails to light when heat is being called for.
  • The dial feels loose, stiff or does not hold its setting.
