What it is
A 350mm gas-appliance thermocouple with an M9 tip thread, stocked as a cross-reference for the Drugasar G2/T heater. Drugasar is a Manchester manufacturer of gas-fired warm air heaters, a subsidiary of the Dutch maker DRU.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot light won't stay alight, or goes out as soon as the control knob is released
- The pilot button needs holding in for longer than normal before the flame stays lit
- Visible corrosion, discolouration or a kinked lead on the probe
- The gas valve won't open even though the pilot is burning correctly
