What it is
A 300mm thermocouple with an aluminised tip and M9 tip thread, stocked as a cross-reference for the thermocouple fitted to the Cannon Livefire Deluxe gas fire, available for both natural gas and LPG versions of the appliance.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Pilot light won't stay alight, or goes out as soon as the control knob is released
- The pilot button needs holding in for longer than normal before the flame stays lit
- Visible corrosion, discolouration or a kinked lead on the probe
- The gas valve won't open even though the pilot is burning correctly

- Isolate the gas supply before removing the old thermocouple
