What it is
The Belimo SR24A-SR is a rotary actuator rated at 20 Nm, designed to drive a valve or damper through a 90-second stroke. It runs on an AC/DC 24 V supply and accepts a 2...10 V modulating control signal, so it positions proportionally rather than simply switching open or closed. Its IP54 enclosure allows it to be installed in plant rooms and similar environments where some dust and water spray protection is required.
Before you order
- Confirm the 20 Nm torque rating is adequate for the valve or damper being driven, allowing for the torque required to seat and unseat the damper blade or valve plug.
- Check that an AC/DC 24 V supply is available at the point of installation, and that the controller provides a 2...10 V output signal.
- Verify the actuator mounting and coupling suit the spindle or valve stem on the equipment being operated.
- Check the IP54 rating is suitable for the environment; it is not intended for immersion or direct high-pressure washing.
