What it is
The Niglon SP20DP is a 20-amp double pole (DP) plate switch used to isolate general electrical circuits such as water heaters, extractor fans or fixed appliances. It has a white, square-edged moulded urea construction and is built for flush or surface wall mounting.

- Switch feels loose or wobbly on the plate
- Fails to fully isolate the circuit when tested
- Cracked, scorched or discoloured urea housing
- Intermittent operation or a buzzing sound when switched
