What it is
The NTC sensor is a temperature-sensing component manufactured by Valor for use in its boiler range. It is a negative temperature coefficient thermistor, meaning its electrical resistance falls as the temperature around it rises. The boiler's control board reads that changing resistance to determine water temperature and regulate heating and hot water operation.
