What it is
A Glow-worm M3 x 6mm fixing screw supplied under part number SK7959 and finished in bright zinc plating (BZP). It is a small fastening component used across a large number of Glow-worm gas boiler models for securing covers, panels and internal assemblies. The part supersedes the earlier code K7959.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The head is stripped or rounded and the screw can no longer be driven or removed
- Corrosion or rust on the screw body, common after long service or water exposure
- The screw is missing after a previous service or repair, leaving a panel or component insecure
- The screw will not tighten and spins in its fixing point
- The head has sheared off during removal
