What it is
The Horstmann (Secure) SCT400-000, also known as the H3747, is a wireless 4-channel receiver with a programmable thermostat display for combi and system boilers. It is wireless-enabled out of the box and can be operated by app with an optional Wi-Fi adapter.
Signs this part needs replacing
- Display stays blank or unresponsive after a battery change
- Receiver fails to fire the boiler or zone valves on schedule
- Programme settings are repeatedly lost
- Casing or buttons cracked or no longer seating properly
Before you order
- Change the battery first before assuming a fault, as most display issues trace back to this
- Confirm your existing backplate is the standard 9-pin ChannelPlus type before fitting as a like-for-like replacement
- The Wi-Fi adapter and wireless temperature sensor for full app control are sold separately
