What it is
The Glow-worm S801189 is a flow switch supplied with its connecting cables. It is a replacement hydraulic component for Glow-worm boilers, where it monitors water movement through the appliance circuit and signals the control board that flow is present. When the switch fails to register flow, the boiler cannot complete its sequence and will not fire.

- The boiler runs the pump but does not fire on a hot water or heating demand
- Intermittent lockouts that clear on reset and return shortly afterwards
- No flow signal reported during a service or diagnostic check
- Domestic hot water runs cold while the pump is clearly running
