Baxi Expansion Vessel S62753

The Baxi S62753 is an expansion vessel used in Baxi Avanta Exclusive, Avanta Plus Combi and Avanta Plus System boilers, and in Potterton Profile system models. It absorbs the volume change in the heating circuit as the system water heats and cools, keeping the boiler's working pressure within range and reducing stress on the pressure relief valve and other components.

• Boiler pressure climbs sharply as the system heats up and drops back again once it cools.
• Water is discharging from the pressure relief valve, or the valve is weeping continuously.
• System pressure needs topping up regularly even though there is no visible leak on the pipework.
• The pressure gauge reads high with the heating off, or the boiler cuts out on a pressure fault.
• Water or corrosion staining is present around the vessel connection point.
