What it is

The Glow-worm S212312 is a case seal for the top and bottom of the appliance casing. It is manufactured by Glow-worm for use on boilers in the Micron range. The seal maintains the integrity of the casing joint, keeping the combustion area enclosed as designed.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible splits, cracks or perishing in the existing seal
  • The seal has flattened or hardened and no longer sits proud of the casing joint
  • Gaps or movement at the top or bottom casing joint when the panels are fitted
  • Discolouration or heat damage to the seal material
  • The seal is missing, torn or has come away from its seating
