What it is

The S212193 is the bottom case seal for Glow-worm Ultimate gas boilers. It sits at the base of the appliance casing, sealing the joint between the lower case panel and the boiler body. Its role is to close off the casing base so that combustion products and heat are contained within the appliance and the casework is properly sealed.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The seal is cracked, split or perished
  • The seal has hardened and no longer compresses against the casing
  • Visible gaps at the base of the case where the seal has broken down
  • Discolouration or heat marking around the bottom case joint
  • The casing base does not sit flush or seal correctly after refitting

Before you order

  • Confirm your boiler model against the fitment list above
  • Check the seal position on the appliance to confirm it is the bottom case seal you need
  • Compare the old seal against the new one before fitting
  • Inspect the casing panels for damage that could prevent a correct seal
