What it is
The Glow-worm fan with tachymeter (S1072500) is a combustion fan assembly used on Glow-worm GW series boilers and related Saunier Duval Themaclassic models. It draws flue gases through the heat exchanger and discharges them to atmosphere, while the tachymeter provides a speed signal back to the boiler control. This assembly supersedes the earlier code 802037.

- Fan runs noisily, with rumbling, scraping or bearing whine from the fan housing
- Fan fails to start, or runs at a fixed speed with no tachometer feedback to the control
