What it is

The Broag Adapter 1/8 M5 is a small threaded adaptor used on Broag commercial boiler assemblies, converting a 1/8 inch connection to an M5 thread. It is supplied as a pack of two pieces with Loctite included for securing the threaded joint on assembly. The part belongs to the Broag commercial spare parts range for GAS 320 ACE and GAS 620 ACE appliances.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible weeping or a weep trail at the adapter thread or joint
  • Corrosion, scale or discolouration on the adapter body or threads
  • Threads damaged, crossed or flattened so the fitting will not seat cleanly
  • Adapter works loose in service despite correct tightening
