What it is

This is a Broag sealing gasket measuring 56 x 42 x 2 mm, supplied in a pack of five. It is used on Broag commercial gas boilers in the GAS 320 ACE and GAS 620 ACE ranges, where it seals a joint face against water or gas leakage. The gasket is a consumable item and should be renewed whenever the joint it sits in is disturbed.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • Visible water or gas weeping at the joint face the gasket seals
  • The gasket is flattened, hardened or compressed and no longer springs back
  • Cracks, splits or crumbling material visible on the gasket surface
  • Scale, corrosion or debris embedded in the gasket face
  • The joint has been opened for servicing and the old gasket cannot be reused
