Broag Ignition Transformer S103251

The ignition transformer is a Broag spare part for the Broag Commercial GAS 320 ACE and GAS 620 ACE boiler families. It provides the high-voltage supply that generates the spark at the burner, igniting the gas and air mixture on a call for heat. It is a serviceable electrical component, replaced when the burner will no longer spark reliably.

• The boiler completes its pre-purge but the burner fails to light, with no spark at the electrode.
• Repeated ignition attempts end in a lockout fault code.
• An audible clicking or arcing is heard without any flame establishing.
• The burner lights intermittently or drops out shortly after ignition.
• The transformer body shows signs of heat damage, cracking or tracking.

• Confirm the appliance model and rating against the fitment list above, as ratings within each range differ.
• Check the appliance data plate and the part number on the existing transformer before ordering.
• Inspect the ignition electrode, lead and its insulation as well as the transformer, since a damaged lead can mimic a transformer fault.
