Signs this part needs replacing

  • The pilot flame will not stay lit or extinguishes shortly after ignition

  • Visible corrosion, kinking, cracking or crushing along the pilot feed pipe
  • Soot or debris build-up around the pilot pipework restricting flow
  • Repeated ignition lockouts traced to the pilot supply
