What it is
The Johnson & Starley pressure switch tube kit is a tubing assembly for the pressure switch circuit on Economaire warm air units. It is manufactured by Johnson & Starley for use across the Economaire range. The tube carries the pressure signal that the pressure switch uses to prove correct air movement before the appliance is allowed to fire.
Signs this part needs replacing
- The tube is split, cracked or perished, allowing the pressure signal to escape.
- The tube is kinked, pinched or has come loose at either connection.
- The tube is blocked with dust, lint or condensate.
- The appliance locks out or fails to prove air pressure on start-up.
- Intermittent lockouts that clear when the tube is disturbed.
