What it is

The TF834.3 is a burner control box manufactured by EOGB and used within the Honeywell Satronic control family. It manages the ignition and flame monitoring sequence on the appliance, supervising start-up, safe lockout and shutdown. It is supplied as a boxed control unit for boiler applications.

Signs this part needs replacing

  • The burner runs through its pre-purge but fails to reach ignition.
  • The appliance locks out repeatedly and requires manual reset.
  • Intermittent shutdowns during normal operation with no other fault indicated.
  • The control box shows signs of heat damage, moisture ingress or a burnt smell.
  • No ignition spark or flame signal is produced despite a healthy ignition and detection circuit.
