What it is

The Johnson & Starley S00870 is a solenoid valve assembly used on Eljan and Hijan water heaters. It replaces the Parker solenoid valve previously fitted to these appliances. The valve opens and closes the gas supply to the burner under the control of the appliance's control circuit.
